Complete disappointment in Matisyahu
I've been a fan of The Doors - A Tribute To Wild Child for quite some time now. Their music, what they stood for, and truly thought of them as an inspirational leader, I loved. When they came on stage and nobody knew who they were, it was such a letdown, given that there were other folks in our party, we walked out to the lobby bar to wait for them. Being an artist, let alone a Caucasian Reggae artist, the way in which you present yourself has a great impact on your message. Just gross!! It was the same feeling I got when I heard Justin Bieber try to do some gangster rap, appearing like a bank teller only made them look like a poser up on stage. I was disgusted with their re-birth and hope that they are able to somehow grow up to what they used to be. The other folks in our party loved it, I just had high expectations for them. If it would have been a different artist, I would have liked it too, I'm sure; but did not expect it from them. It was quite evident how many folks had a similar feeling, and they walked out 3 songs into their performance. Sorry Wild Child - A Tribute To The Doors, you really screwed up with some of your fans. I hadn't seen them live since last year and hadn't kept up with their "rebirth"; therefore, it was quite a disappointment.
